Revisions can be used when you want to change your page/post back to a previous state.
This is the video. Below it are the written steps.
Getting started
To revise a page/post what you are going to want to do is go to the navigation bar and hover over post (or pages depending on what you want to revise) and click on all post.
Choose a post that you want to revise
It should take you to a page that looks like this. Once you are on this page choose a post that you want to revise (for this example I’m going to click on testing 2).
Look for revisions and then click on browse
Once you have clicked on the post you want to revise it should take you to a page that looks similar to this. In the right-sidebar under publish look for revisions and then click on browse.
Use the sliding bar at the top to change your post back to a previous version.
It should take you to a page that looks like this. Now that you are on this page, you can use the sliding bar at the top to change your post back to a previous version.
Click restore this revision
As you can see, I moved the circle to the left once and now it is showing me what the page looked like 3 weeks ago. Once you have chosen what previous version you want, click restore this revision.
Done
Now your post should look like it’s previous version.
