How to Create a Menu for your WordPress Website
This is the video. Below it are the written steps.
Hover over Appearance
Hover over the “Appearance” category on the navigation bar and select “menus” from the options that pop up.
Menu editing page
The menu editing page is where you can create and edit your menus. Typically, the content you would like to add will be in a column on the left, and the menu you are editing will appear on the right. To create a new menu, click the link at the top of the page that says “create a new menu”.
Name menu
After you click the previous link, a text box will pop up that prompts you to enter a name. Name your menu then press “Create Menu”.
Add content to menu
At first, your menu will be blank because there is no structure. To add content, click on the box next to any page, post, link, or category in the left column. Press “Add to Menu” and your content will appear in tabs in the right column. These tabs are moveable. Just click and hold one on with your cursor to drag each page into the order you prefer.
Select the display location
Select the display location for your menu. For example, since we are creating a Main Menu right now, we would want to select primary menu. If you were creating a footer menu, you would select footer.
Save menu
Now just press “Save Menu” to complete your menu!
